Welcome to the University of Sheffield LGBT Committee website. We represent lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans* and MSAGI (minority sexuality and gender identity) students within the University and the Students' Union. Here you'll find all the information you need about us and what we do.
We meet weekly during term time, organise non-alcoholic socials as well as bar crawls and pub socials, and also run two campaigns per year on LGBT-related issues. We are a committee that works in the interests of the students that we represent. There is no membership fee and we are more than happy to help anybody to get more involved or meet new people. We will welcome anybody to any committee meeting if they have something to say, share or just want to sit in, the meetings are not just for committee! |
